About The Midwives

Elisa is our midwife from Germany, now living in Loulé. She is also our certified kinesio taping therapist. Elisa has studied midwifery in Germany, worked for some time in the hospital and also has experience in working in a birth house, in prenatal care and in postnatal care. Elisa speaks German, English and is learning Portuguese.

Tashmyn is our midwife from Curaçao, now living in Faro. She is also a nurse. Tashmyn has studied midwifery in Belgium and nursing in the Netherlands. She has worked in the Netherlands, Malawi and in Portugal as a midwife and/or a nurse. And also has experience in working in prenatal and postnatal care. Tashmyn speaks Papiamento, Dutch, English and Portuguese.
